drobek

Open-source vibe coding hosting for small web apps your own AI agent builds.

Try my hosted instance at drobek.app, or run the same core on your own server.

Using an AI agent? Give it https://drobek.app/llms.txt, or start from a prompt.

See drobek in 33 seconds

Watch an AI agent turn an idea into a preview, fix a compile error and publish the app over MCP.

How it works

  1. Add https://drobek.app/mcp to Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex and approve it once.
  2. Ask for an app. The agent writes it straight into your workspace.
  3. Every write compiles and is kept as a version with a preview link, <app>--preview.drobek.app.
  4. Say publish. It is live at <app>.drobek.app or your own domain.

Connect your agent

Using an AI agent? Give it this page or this link: the MCP server, every tool, the rules and the full contract.

https://drobek.app/llms.txt

Start from a prompt

Read https://drobek.app/llms.txt and connect the drobek MCP server https://drobek.app/mcp. If a step needs me, such as signing in, tell me exactly what to do. Then build me: …your app idea

Agents, do this:

  1. Read https://drobek.app/llms.txt: the MCP server, every tool and the rules. The full contract: https://drobek.app/llms-full.txt.
  2. Connect the MCP server https://drobek.app/mcp (OAuth: the user signs in once in the browser). Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http drobek https://drobek.app/mcp
then the user runs /mcp → drobek → sign in. Or install the plugin, which adds the server and the build skill:
    claude plugin marketplace add freema/drobek-plugin
    claude plugin install drobek@drobek
Claude (web, desktop): add a custom connector with the URL https://drobek.app/mcp. Cursor, Codex: connect.
  3. Create the app and write its files. Every write compiles and returns the result: fix what fails, then give the user the preview URL.
  4. Publish only when the user asks.

The MCP server alone, for Claude, Claude Code, Cursor or Codex:

https://drobek.app/mcp

No browser where the agent runs (a script, CI)? Create an API key in the dashboard under API keys and send it as Authorization: Bearer drk_…. More in the agent docs.

Agent plugins

The drobek plugin connects your agent to drobek.app or your own drobek server and teaches it the loop: create the app, fix compile errors, hand you the preview, publish when you say so.

claude plugin marketplace add freema/drobek-plugin
claude plugin install drobek@drobek

Codex and Cursor too, and your own drobek server: freema/drobek-plugin (MIT).

Backend components

Platform modules give your apps their backend. They run on drobek.app or your own drobek server; your agent configures them and you confirm sensitive changes.

auth
sign-in for your app's users with an e-mailed code
data
collections of records with per-operation access rules
forms
submissions stored and e-mailed to you
email
notifications to the app's owners
files
uploads from your users, with a per-app quota
proxy
calls to third-party APIs, the key kept on the server

Secrets are set in the dashboard, never through the agent. More modules, and how to write your own: the module directory.

Open source under AGPL-3.0: drobek.app runs the same public image you can host yourself. The code is at freema/drobek, the setup in the self-hosting guide.

Questions

What is vibe coding hosting?

A place to run the apps you build by describing them to an AI agent. Your agent writes the files straight into a drobek workspace over MCP; drobek compiles every write, keeps it as a version with a preview link and publishes the one you choose. There is no repository, build pipeline or server for you to set up.

How do I deploy an app my agent built?

Connect https://drobek.app/mcp to Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or Claude, ask for the app and check the preview. Say publish and it is live at <app>.drobek.app or on your own domain.

Can I host a Claude artifact?

Yes. Ask your agent to move the artifact to drobek: it writes the files over unchanged, uploads images and video at the same paths and gives you a preview to check before you publish.

Is drobek an alternative to Lovable, Bolt.new or v0?

Yes, if you already use an AI agent. drobek has no chat of its own: your agent builds the app, drobek compiles, previews and hosts it, and you can run drobek on your own server. How drobek compares.

Can I self-host drobek?

Yes. The core is open source under AGPL-3.0 and drobek.app runs the same public image. It needs Postgres, Redis and Caddy next to it; the self-hosting guide covers the setup, and the agent plugins connect to your server the same way.

Try it here, or host your own

Sign in to my drobek.app instance with your e-mail and start in the dashboard or from your agent. To run your own instance, use the same open-source core and connect the plugins to your server.
